Sartorius is looking for a Global Marketing Expert to deliver events and strategic marketing initiatives that support our Data Analytics Business Unit. In this role, you will drive brand awareness across global regions, requiring conceptual, logistical, and executional ownership of events.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Units to conceptualize and design events that align with strategic objectives.
- Develop creative themes and formats for both in-person and virtual events to engage target audiences and enhance brand visibility.
- Plan and manage the logistics of events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to oversee all aspects of event delivery, including negotiations, contract management, venue selection, technology setup, and participant engagement.
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy for regional key launches and the year-round action plan as a key interface between business areas, sales, marketing, and technical teams.
- Support with the development and deployment of specific regional marketing tactics to achieve business goals.
- Create and oversee event schedules, staffing, and resource plans.
- Serve as the brand ambassador for the region, ensuring all regionalized marketing materials adhere to corporate brand guidelines.
- Prepare reports on performance, engagement, and ROI to refine strategies.
- Work closely with sales, product, and technical teams across geographies and time zones.
- Monitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, a related field, or extensive equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event management and campaign execution.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with software such as Asana, SharePoint, Core Media, Salesforce, and Tableau.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Flexible and open to change, with the ability to adapt strategies based on feedback.
- Ability to travel and attend events to lead and supervise set up; this role requires regular travel within Europe and internationally, approximately >35% of the time.
