About the Role
Lead global financial planning, reporting, and compliance while supporting M&A activities and acting as a strategic partner to regional and functional leaders. Ensure accurate multi-entity reporting and alignment with international accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead global financial planning and analysis activities, including setting budget KPIs, reforecasting, monthly performance reviews, and variance analysis.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and special analyses for the Executive Committee.
- Deliver financial insights across functions to support corporate strategy and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with regional heads and global departments such as Sales, Marketing, and IT to align financial planning with operational needs.
- Support senior leadership with accurate financial data and analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrate advanced skills in consolidation accounting, transfer pricing, intercompany eliminations, multi-entity reporting, and foreign currency translation.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of IFRS and, where applicable, US GAAP, along with global regulatory compliance requirements.
- Evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions, challenge investment cases, and contribute to due diligence assessments.
- Assist in integrating acquired businesses into group reporting and financial processes.
- Partner with operational teams on growth initiatives, assessing financial viability and conducting due diligence.
- Take a leading role in M&A projects, including financial evaluation, valuation modeling, and integration planning.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for country business managers and local finance teams on global financial matters.
- Act as liaison between local entities and Group Corporate Finance, including Group Control, Treasury, and Finance Shared Service Centers.
- Maintain strong relationships with global and local stakeholders through clear communication, resilience, and adaptability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in global financial control and reporting.
- Expertise in financial consolidation, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency environments.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and familiarity with US GAAP where applicable.
- Experience with transfer pricing and foreign currency translation.
- Solid background in FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations.
- Experience supporting M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Ability to partner with regional and functional leaders to drive financial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across global teams.
- Resilience and agility in managing complex financial environments.
- Valid work permit for residence in a European country.
