Responsibilities
- Create and implement a global procurement strategy focused on cost efficiency, supply reliability, process optimization, and quality compliance.
- Lead initiatives to source from best-cost countries and support localization efforts.
- Collaborate with corporate departments in alignment with company procurement standards.
- Oversee the global supplier base, including ongoing market evaluation.
- Lead the identification and development of new suppliers in partnership with R&D to ensure timely access, quality, and competitive advantage.
- Negotiate long-term framework agreements with suppliers.
- Track, calculate, and report cost savings using designated systems such as RAMPIT.
- Analyze and track market trends for pricing and availability of critical production materials.
- Lead or support category-specific projects, task forces, and risk mitigation plans, including responses to supply disruptions.
- Assist in establishing price budgets and predicting material demand.
