Motorola Solutions is looking for a GIS Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for managing GIS data maintenance for our products, working directly with customer resources. You will be responsible for installing ESRI software, creating and administering models and scripts, handling data creation and manipulation, and providing first-line GIS data support as a liaison to our deployment, support, and development teams.

What You'll Do

Conduct remote and potentially on-site configuration, setup, and maintenance of GIS data.
Coordinate customer (agency) information between Motorola Solutions and customer resources.
Manage communication with customer contacts regarding the overall project schedule and maintenance.
Complete required department and project reports and documentation within set standards.
Present training using a variety of classroom methods, including lectures, presentations, and online projection.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional experience in GIS, Geography, or Cartography.
Demonstrated experience with ESRI applications and GIS data management principles.
Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software applications, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, cached mapping services, and ArcGIS Online applications.
Knowledge of cartographic mapping principles and geospatial processes and applications relating to public safety.
Knowledge of the Python scripting language.
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and successfully meet deadlines.
A strong commitment to product quality.
Knowledge of standard office applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and work as a team member.
Willingness to travel.
Ability to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
