Join AtkinsRéalis as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist working on prestigious geotechnical projects across the UK and internationally. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio in infrastructure and energy sectors, including rail, highways, defence, water, carbon capture, renewable energy, and nuclear power, within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
What You'll Do
- Support a diverse range of strategic projects across infrastructure and energy sectors
- Work as part of a team where contributions are valued and collaborative relationships are built
- Liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines
- Produce accurate and self-checked technical reports
- Undertake short-term travel assignments within the UK and overseas
What We're Looking For
- Degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience
- Postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical subject
- Chartered status or nearing chartered status
- Good understanding of ground investigation techniques
- Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks
- Experience in general numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap
- Experience working in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills with ability to self-check work
- Willingness to travel on short assignments within the UK and overseas
- Valid UK driving licence
