AECOM is hiring a Geotechnical Engineer to serve as the Technical Responsible Geo, leading our technical area of geotechnics on a variety of infrastructure projects. You will be the key representative for geotechnical matters to clients and internal project teams, ensuring technical excellence across our portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Represent the geotechnical technical area to clients and geotechnical handlers within AECOM.
- Identify and communicate overall customer requirements to the team and monitor implementation.
- Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews.
- Coordinate work with adjacent technical areas.
- Be responsible for follow-up and reporting of the technical area's progress against schedule and budget.
- Identify and communicate project changes.
- Monitor that the quality assurance process is followed and documented.
- Build and maintain a network of international geotechnical employees who can assist on assignments.
- Actively work with upselling in our assignments and contribute to business development.
- Support the management group with tender work.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant university or civil engineering degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in the technical area of Geotechnics.
- Have held the role/roles of technical responsible for at least 5 years.
- Very good knowledge of English and Swedish, spoken and written.
- Experience in producing tender documents and construction documents for execution contracts according to AB04.
- Good experience with ABK09.
- Good experience working with AMA and TB/MF.
Nice to Have
- Experience in production, construction site follow-up, or similar contractor experience.
- Experience in producing tender documents for total contracts according to ABT06.
- Experience in detailed design for contractors.
- Worked in projects at an early stage (investigation stage) for municipalities.
- Been responsible for or worked together with employees from other countries.
