Role Overview
Provide licensed, remote psychotherapy services as an independent contractor through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. This part-time position supports individuals across the U.S. with flexible scheduling and integration into a multidisciplinary care model. You’ll deliver clinically sound, culturally aware therapy while benefiting from clinical resources, training, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions using encrypted video technology, ensuring privacy and compliance
- Document and finalize clinical notes in the electronic medical record within 48 hours post-session
- Keep licensure records current and verify credentials in your personal profile
- Regularly update your availability to support consistent patient access
- Collaborate with care teams including coaches, psychiatrists, and fellow clinicians to support holistic treatment
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an active, independent clinical license at the graduate level and have at least three years of direct therapy experience with individuals, couples, or families. You should be proficient in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based interventions, and committed to measurement-informed care.
Additional requirements include:
- BC-TMH certification if mandated by your state
- Reliable internet and a private, secure environment for teletherapy
- Proficiency with digital tools including EMR systems, Google Workspace, and video conferencing
- Strong communication skills and comfort working within interdisciplinary teams
- Experience managing complex cases and assessing clinical risk
- Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive care

- Holding licenses in multiple states
- Eligibility or enrollment in PSYPACT
- Fluency in multiple languages

- Evening availability to accommodate patient needs
- Familiarity with mindfulness applications and digital mental health tools
Technology Used
Sessions are conducted via Zoom on a HIPAA-compliant platform. Clinical documentation is managed through an EMR system, with support from Google web applications for coordination and communication.
Support & Development
Contractors receive access to ongoing training grounded in evidence-based practices, quality assurance processes, and peer collaboration networks. A dedicated support structure handles administrative logistics, allowing you to focus on clinical work. You’ll also have resources to enhance culturally attuned and transdiagnostic care delivery.
Work Flexibility
This 1099 role offers full control over your weekly schedule. You must be able to support at least 10 patient sessions per week, with flexibility to scale up or down as needed. Night and weekend availability is encouraged to meet patient demand.
Eligibility Note
Applicants currently receiving clinical or coaching services through the company must complete care before applying. Upon hire, personal accounts will be deactivated during employment to maintain ethical boundaries. The organization may implement delayed start dates or accommodations to prevent conflicts of interest.
