Requirements
- Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred and a minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes
- Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills
- Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
- Must be able to comply with OSHA Standards
- Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly
- Must be willing and able to drive long distances, workday, evening, or night hours; overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays as required; must assume 24-hour on-call duty when assigned and be gone from home for extended periods of time
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
