Tiger Brands is looking for a General Worker to join our production team. You will play a key role in supporting our operations by assisting with equipment, upholding stringent safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to an efficient production environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in operating equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Adhere to HACCP principles and maintain high personal and factory hygiene standards
- Conduct necessary checks and ensure equipment and work area cleanliness
- Report on wastage and record equipment downtime
- Assist in identifying and rectifying deviations, reporting them to the Supervisor
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed and report unsafe practices
What We're Looking For
- Functional literacy and numeracy
- Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures
- Accuracy and a strong attention to detail
- Able to work shifts, which also include overtime and weekends
- A team player who is self-motivated with high levels of personal discipline
- Willingness to be trained and become multi-skilled
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Process Specifications, Recipes, and interpretation of data
- Ability to understand goals and objectives as explained by the supervisor
Team & Environment
You will report directly to a Supervisor and join a collaborative production team.
Work Mode
This position is fully onsite.
