Paired is seeking a General Operations Manager for a US-based DTC client company. In this remote, part-time role, you will be the skilled operator responsible for streamlining, stabilizing, and optimizing both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy for a fast-paced Shopify e-commerce brand.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with overseas manufacturers to develop samples and manage bulk order production.
- Oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring timely production and quality control while negotiating cost-effective terms.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts on best-sellers and avoid overstock.
- Use inventory demand planning tools to forecast needs based on revenue goals.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers and 3PL partners, presenting options to the founder.
- Manage 3PL relationships, hold providers accountable to metrics, and optimize logistics for cost and speed.
- Oversee systems integration, including onboarding to chosen ERP (Luminous) and future migrations.
- Supervise SKU preparation, product development timelines, and the operational marketing calendar.
- Oversee the customer service team, set benchmarks, and handle complex escalations.
- Lead the creative team and own their output KPIs.
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency across hiring, operations, and other processes.
- Source and recruit affiliate creators on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- Learn emerging tech and trends to translate broad ideas into structured execution.
- Organize brand digital assets and jump into 'anything ops' as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in operations management within DTC e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and Shopify.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to implement systems and processes to increase efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to learn.
- A track record of reliability and growth in previous roles.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with high-creative-output Shopify DTC brands.
- Experience in apparel or fashion production.
- Omnichannel operational experience.
- A 4-year college degree or relevant certifications.
