Love’s Travel Stops is looking for a General Manager - Restaurant to lead the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant and fresh kitchen. You will play a key role in managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and executing strategies to enhance sales and satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, adhering to proper food safety procedures.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Assist the facility General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, talent acquisition, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Work alongside team members to coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner.
- Understand financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to affect business changes and capitalize on opportunities.
- Address customer feedback to improve the overall dining experience.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years restaurant management experience.
- 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $500k+.
- 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability for frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
