NerdWallet is hiring a General Manager, Partnerships to own and scale the partner strategy for one of our key growth verticals. This high-impact leadership role sits at the intersection of business development, strategic partnerships, and marketplace growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead partnership strategy and drive revenue growth by developing new models and identifying untapped opportunities.
• Manage high-value relationships with banks, lenders, and insurance partners, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic planning, negotiations, and performance reviews.
• Innovate on pricing structures and partnership frameworks to scale impact and differentiate NerdWallet in the marketplace.
• Collaborate across product, ops, analytics, and vertical teams to align on shared goals and execute with precision.
• Use data to inform strategy, optimize performance, and identify trends that shape future opportunities.
• Build scalable systems and processes that support rapid expansion of the partner portfolio.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in business development or partnerships.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success building and scaling partnerships in financial services or related industries.
• Deep understanding of affiliate marketing, lead generation, and marketplace models.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and negotiating complex deals.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into strategic action.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience working for or closely with banks, lenders, or insurance companies.
• Background in designing new pricing or go-to-market strategies.
• Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance.
