Deblock is hiring a General Manager (DACH) to lead our strategic expansion in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will be both the public face and strategic operator for the region, owning the 'Trust & Growth' engine and reporting directly to the Founders.
What You'll Do
- Represent Deblock publicly on top-tier podcasts, TV panels, and key industry stages.
- Identify and close strategic partnerships relevant to the German market.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with finance educators and Key Opinion Leaders.
- Lead initiatives to acquire local trust signals such as consumer protection registrations.
- Adapt the global product roadmap to fit German user habits and local needs.
What We're Looking For
- A hybrid profile: 50% Public Figure (comfortable on TV/stage) and 50% Operator (BizDev/Strategy).
- A commercial network of contacts at German fintechs, media outlets, banks, and platforms.
- Understanding of the German 'Trust Stack' (GDPR, BaFin compliance, TÜV, Verbraucherschutz).
- Ability to explain complex crypto concepts simply and credibly in public forums.
Nice to Have
- Experience negotiating partnerships.
- A personal brand that leans towards 'Expert/Educator' rather than 'Hype/Trading.'
- Experience successfully navigating a fintech product through German consumer protection hurdles.
- Experience in 'Lobbying Light'—engaging with political or regulatory stakeholders.
