Basalite Concrete Products, the technological leader in North America for concrete masonry products, is hiring a General Laborer for our Sack Plant. Under the supervision of the Sack Plant Superintendent, you will be responsible for the accuracy of bag weights, additive dispensing, and all specialty products, while demonstrating our Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation, and Financial Success.

What You'll Do

Check sacks for defects, verify bag weight accuracy, and identify contamination.
Verify specialty plant products and check the quality of finished goods.
Keep assigned work areas clean and organized.
Operate a forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules; ensure hazardous conditions are reported.
Follow all company rules and maintain regular attendance.

This position reports directly to the Sack Plant Superintendent and is part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality concrete products.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Accrue up to 80 hours of vacation in your first year.
