Agilent Technologies is hiring a Field Service Engineer to support our chemical analysis instruments (GC, GC/MS, LC, LC/MS). You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of field service, primarily supporting customers in the Western Japan region (Tokai, Kansai, Kyushu, etc.).
What You'll Do
- Install Agilent instruments (GC, GC/MS, LC, LC/MS) and provide operational training for customers.
- Conclude established application acceptances.
- Perform instrument validation and routine maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair instrument faults.
- Promote the sale of support-related products.
What We're Looking For
- A graduate degree (technical college or higher) in chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biology, information technology, or a related field.
- A valid standard Japanese driver's license.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience as an engineer for GC, GC/MS, LC, or LC/MS analytical instruments, other physical/chemical instrument engineering, or as an analytical instrument user.
- Proficiency in English (training is often conducted overseas).
