What You'll Do

  • Provide support to preparers for audit packs, distributions, tax returns, supplementary reports, financial statements, and other client deliverables.
  • Perform review and checks on deliverables prepared by team members, ensuring they are signed off on strict timetables to meet client and auditor deadlines.

  • Take a lead role in projects implementing enhanced processes or productivity improvements.
  • Conduct training for new team members on all processes when mentoring is required.
  • Regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they are updated and recertified by Sydney.

  • Conduct one-on-one sessions and coaching for team members, and lead a committee.

What We're Looking For

  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards such as IFRS.
  • Exhibits leadership behaviors and strong decision-making skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
