Local Infusion is hiring a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care at our infusion centers in Connecticut. You will ensure the highest level of infusion therapy through clinical care, patient coordination, and quality oversight.
What You'll Do
- Provide in-person infusion care and support at a Local Infusion center, with occasional travel to other centers for coverage.
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients across all aspects of their care, including scheduling, symptoms, and inquiries.
- Coordinate with referring and prescribing providers to ensure appropriate and effective care.
- Order and maintain clinical inventory and supplies.
- Onboard new Medicare patients by conducting establishment calls and completing documentation.
- Perform chart audits, provide clinical supervision, and ensure compliance across the region.
- Serve as a resource for patient education, especially for preventative health consultations.
What We're Looking For
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Connecticut.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Nice to Have
- Strong clinical judgment with IV therapy experience.
- Experience with Medicare documentation and quality/compliance processes.
