Responsibilities
- Guide and develop pharmacy technicians through active coaching, immediate feedback, and performance support to build a strong, effective team.
- Manage the onboarding, training, and continuous skill development of technicians to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and high operational standards.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to maintain proper shift coverage and uninterrupted workflow.
- Ensure all pharmacy fulfillment tasks—such as picking, packing, and shipping—are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Serve as the main contact for resolving daily operational issues on the floor, escalating to leadership when necessary.
- Work closely with pharmacists and teams across operations, care, and product to quickly resolve order and shipping problems.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated pharmacy systems to maintain reliable performance under regular order volume.
- Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout fulfillment and promote strict adherence to all standards and protocols.
- Support continuous improvement by taking part in workflow assessments and helping roll out operational upgrades.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and prepared for inspections in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Provide flexible support to fulfillment operations by stepping in to assist with order processing and technician tasks as needed.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by pharmacy leadership as required.
