Responsibilities
- Analyze process data presented in Process Flow Diagrams, including heat and material balances, process boundaries, and integration points with mechanical systems.
- Define and size process components such as storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping, valves, and pumps according to operational requirements.
- Create comprehensive equipment inventories and detailed technical data sheets.
- Generate or review fabrication drawings for specialized process equipment.
- Collaborate with suppliers during equipment and instrumentation procurement.
- Support the Lead Engineer in formulating commissioning strategies and execution procedures for new equipment.
- Coordinate with plant operations staff to deploy, validate, and refine TRISO fuel production methods.
- Provide technical supervision of fuel manufacturing activities and apply industry best practices to enhance performance.
- Collaborate across engineering and technical teams to identify equipment limitations and implement design upgrades.
- Engage with production teams during the fabrication, assembly, and testing of process equipment modules.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
