JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Front End Software Engineer III for its Asset and Wealth Management Technology Team. In this role, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be responsible for critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support the firm’s business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond conventional approaches.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations from large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies.
- Add to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
What We're Looking For
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Strong hands-on coding experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.
