Build and lead the development of checkout SDKs used across payments, investment flows, and identity verification processes. You'll own the full lifecycle of these critical components, ensuring they are performant, maintainable, and seamlessly integrated into merchant systems.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain merchant-facing dashboards with real-time data updates and complex visualizations
- Develop internal tools that support compliance and operations teams with reliable, secure interfaces
- Optimize frontend performance using Core Web Vitals, code splitting, and lazy loading strategies
- Establish strong engineering practices through testing, CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive documentation
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to align on technical and user experience goals
- Guide architectural decisions for scalable frontend systems, including micro frontends and shared component libraries
- Support the growth of the engineering team through mentorship, hiring, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional frontend experience, with at least one long-term role (2+ years)
- Proven track record building customer-facing web applications at scale
- Strong command of React, including Hooks, context, and performance optimization
- Deep understanding of TypeScript, including generics and advanced typing patterns
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or TanStack Query
- Proficiency in responsive design using Tailwind CSS and CSS-in-JS solutions
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
- Knowledge of performance metrics, Lighthouse audits, and frontend optimization techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing micro frontends using Module Federation or Single-SPA
- Background in building and maintaining design systems with Storybook
- Familiarity with monorepo tools like Turbo Repo or Nx
- Understanding of backend concepts including REST, GraphQL, and Node.js
- DevOps experience with CI/CD, AWS, or Docker
