Responsibilities
- Work on complex cloud-based product development within the Altium Requirements Portal R&D team.
- Combine engineering software, microelectronics, and cloud services in development.
- Define and drive frontend engineering direction.
- Collaborate across teams to improve architecture and user experience.
- Ensure simplicity, performance, and scalability, especially for complex, data-heavy projects.
- Identify improvement areas in existing interfaces and components.
- Propose effective solutions to interface and component challenges.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and scaling complex web applications using modern frontend architectures and technologies.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong skills in HTML and CSS, including responsive layouts and accessibility best practices.
- Hands-on experience with a modern declarative frontend framework (specifically Angular 21 and Vue 3).
- Ability to evaluate multiple solution approaches, clearly articulate trade-offs, and align decisions with relevant stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality, maintainable software with an excellent user experience.
- Big-picture thinker who understands how technical decisions in one area impact the broader system.
- Collaborative team player who works effectively in cross-functional environments.
