Disney is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Developer Productivity team within Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology. In this role, you'll build developer-facing tools and batteries-included frameworks that empower engineers across Disney Streaming, packaging services to make them intuitive and accessible.

What You'll Do

Develop tools and frameworks that empower other engineers across the organization
Partner with the UX design team to transform mock-ups into components, pages, and applications
Join forces with other DPE teams to provide a more user-friendly experience for their services and data
Collaborate with Product Managers to scope features, identify technical implementation, and ensure we're building the right tools effectively

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in Web technologies, including Javascript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
Strong passion for building stable, well-tested applications and packages in a collaborative environment
3 years developing large, well-tested applications
Excellent debugging skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiasm for new technologies, languages, frameworks, and platforms
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
