Responsibilities
- Lead the development of identities for new series, for a new Complex vertical, Complex Bets, including, but not limited to YouTube shows, social content and text articles for web
- Shepherd work from concept to final delivery, at times within tight deadlines
- Guide the creation of brand guidelines, templates, and marketing materials for Complex Bets
- Organize and present creative work for internal and external review, taking extra care to ensure creative alignment of all parties
- Lead the creation of editorial artwork for use on the web and across social platforms
- Provide art direction and design for projects across a variety of platforms and media

- Incorporate best design practices into all creative work

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience working in graphic design, animation and motion graphics at a post house, design firm, agency, or studio
- College degree in graphic design or similar practical experience
- A portfolio of design work representing skill, style, and personal interest
- Possess the hunger to grow and learn under the guidance of art/creative directors
- A refined, stylish approach to motion graphics and design principles compatible with the Complex aesthetic
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Must be imaginative, resourceful, and able to handle multiple projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Ability to work methodically to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a post-production workflow is a must
Nice to Have
- Experience with and knowledge of AI tools like Krea, Invoke, Claude, Weavy etc.
- Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus
Additional Information
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship
- Work Schedule: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday
