Freelance Legal Consultant (US Law) – AI Training
Role Summary
Independent legal professionals with a background in U.S. law are invited to contribute to cutting-edge AI development. In this role, you’ll help shape how artificial intelligence interprets and applies legal reasoning by designing complex prompts, reviewing AI-generated responses, and applying structured evaluation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Create realistic and legally nuanced prompts to test AI capabilities
- Review AI-generated legal analysis for factual accuracy, logical consistency, and proper application of legal principles
- Identify flawed assumptions or gaps in reasoning within AI outputs
- Apply defined scoring systems to assess multi-stage legal problem-solving
- Provide clear, written feedback to improve AI performance over time
Qualifications
- Law degree (J.D., L.L.M., or equivalent) from a U.S.-accredited institution
- At least two years of active legal practice within a U.S. jurisdiction
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level)
- Reliable internet connection for remote work
Work Structure
This is a freelance, project-based position with no guaranteed hours. Active periods typically require 10–20 hours per week, depending on project flow. Work can be completed remotely from any location.
Compensation
Hourly equivalent rate of $60, with variations based on project scope, complexity, and required expertise. Payments are made per completed task or assignment.
