exmox GmbH is looking for a Fraud Analytics Intern (f/m/x) to gain hands-on experience in fraud prevention within the gaming and tech industry. You will learn how data, patterns, and technology protect users by working closely with Customer Support, Product, and Tech teams.

What You'll Do

Support fraud prevention operations by monitoring user activity and payment requests, identifying suspicious behavior, and taking appropriate action.
Collaborate with Customer Support to help resolve tickets.
Detect and flag recurring fraud patterns, collaborating with Product and Tech teams to improve detection measures.
Stay curious about the industry, develop an understanding of potential loopholes, and adapt quickly to market dynamics and new technologies.

What We're Looking For

Currently studying Economics, Statistics, Finance, IT, or a related field in Hamburg or the greater Hamburg area.
Seeking a full-time internship of 3 to 6 months.
Analytical and critical thinking skills, with an affinity for numbers and data.
1–2 years of general work experience.
Quick learner with ability to grasp new concepts quickly and confident in using Excel or Google Sheets.
Proactive, independent, and goal-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English (B2+).

Nice to Have

Work experience ideally in fraud management or similar operational roles, such as call center or support.
German language skills are a plus.
Exposure to data analytics, BI reporting, or similar tools is a plus.
Enthusiastic about mobile games and online topics.
