About the Role

This position involves identifying, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent behavior across digital payment systems through real-time monitoring and pattern recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming transactions for signs of suspicious activity
  • Investigate alerts generated by fraud detection systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve cases
  • Document findings and maintain case records
  • Identify trends in fraudulent behavior
  • Escalate confirmed fraud incidents according to protocol
  • Support the development of risk scoring models
  • Respond to internal inquiries about transaction legitimacy
  • Verify customer identities during high-risk events
  • Monitor chargeback patterns and recommend actions
  • Evaluate new fraud tools and technologies
  • Provide feedback to improve detection algorithms
  • Follow compliance guidelines for financial reporting
  • Assist in creating reports for management review
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud tactics
  • Participate in on-call rotation for urgent cases
  • Conduct post-incident reviews after fraud events
  • Support merchant dispute resolution processes
  • Track key performance metrics related to fraud loss
  • Ensure adherence to internal control policies
  • Work with engineering teams to refine system rules
  • Contribute to process improvements in fraud operations
  • Stay informed about industry fraud trends
  • Handle sensitive data with confidentiality
  • Support audits by providing case documentation
