Pfizer is looking for an FP&A Senior Specialist – EMEA to deliver high-quality, business-oriented financial planning and analysis services. In this role, you will focus on activities that support effective decision-making and drive business performance across the EMEA region.
What You'll Do
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for organizational units and monitor their implementation.
- Analyze budget and forecast deviations, conduct product margin analysis for price setting, and track price development.
- Perform in-depth profitability analyses across business units, products, and customer segments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop financial models and business cases for investments, public tenders, and commercial opportunities.
- Create and present management reports and presentations focused on commercial performance and key business KPIs.
- Monitor cost development, perform cost centre controlling, and support budget holders.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and commentary.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Commercial Operations, and Medical Affairs.
- Execute tasks as directed by FP&A leadership and participate in projects to improve financial processes and systems.
What We're Looking For
- Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Economics or Finance.
- 6-10 years of experience in a similar FP&A or relevant finance position.
- Excellent communication skills with strong intercultural understanding.
- Solid experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost centre controlling, and profitability analysis.
- Strong commercial finance skills, including preparation of business cases for investments, tenders, and commercial deals.
- Proficient in preparing management reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with group reporting standards (IFRS) and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with ERP systems, ideally within an SAP environment.
Nice to Have
- Accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CIMA.
- Experience with SAP BI tools.
- Exposure to planning and forecasting tools such as Anaplan.
