Ethos is hiring a FP&A Manager

TensorOps is hiring an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and business partnership for our R&D organization encompassing Engineering and Product. This role is central to forecasting, budgeting, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decisions as we accelerate investments and transition to an AI-first company.

What You'll Do

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the R&D organization.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, headcount, and project ROI.
• Analyze and report on R&D spend, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the transition to an AI-first strategy by modeling new business scenarios and investment cases.
• Collaborate with broader FP&A and GTM teams to connect financial planning across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
• Provide AWS cost modeling and forecasting support.
• Handle additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting, including 3+ years in a focused FP&A role.
• Strong analytical and financial skills; proficient in interpreting complex data, forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly explain solutions to a wide audience.
• Ability to translate financial goals into business and operational plans, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
• Strong experience with Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides.
• Experience with FP&A tools such as Adaptive or Netsuite.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS or cloud/subscription business models.
• Exposure to AWS cost modeling and forecasting.
• Experience partnering with Product or Engineering teams.

Team & Environment

You will partner directly with the R&D organization (Engineering and Product), and collaborate with the broader FP&A and GTM teams.

• Compensation range: $114,200 - $143,000 + equity via stock option awards.
