Responsibilities
- Direct the creation and ongoing improvement of financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, and extended planning cycles
- Manage the yearly budget process and recurring forecast updates, integrating core business factors like revenue, margins, staffing levels, and resource utilization
- Evaluate performance variances across actual, budgeted, and projected figures, delivering clear, evidence-based insights to executives
- Examine patterns in financial and operational data to uncover potential risks and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with department heads to oversee spending, strengthen cost management, and assess performance relative to financial plans
- Assist in strategic decisions involving pricing strategies, staffing plans, and capital investments
- Design and implement key performance indicators and reporting dashboards to track business outcomes such as revenue, productivity, and profitability
- Conduct on-demand financial and operational assessments to support senior leadership
- Develop revenue projections using sales pipeline information and operational inputs, including data from platforms like HubSpot
- Investigate drivers of revenue, including sales conversion rates, resource utilization, and client or project-level performance
- Support workforce planning, including forecasting headcount and balancing billable versus non-billable staffing needs
- Carry out scenario modeling to assess expansion opportunities and strategies for managing risk
- Supervise the production of monthly and quarterly financial reports for executive and board-level review
- Ensure financial data accuracy and reliability by identifying issues and driving process enhancements
- Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to align on month-end close procedures and reporting standards
- Assist in deploying or upgrading financial planning and reporting systems
- Provide guidance and mentorship to FP&A analysts as the team expands
- Help establish scalable processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to support organizational growth
- Promote a culture emphasizing continuous learning, inquiry, and accountability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of seven years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analytical techniques, with a track record of building forward-looking financial models
- High level of skill in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, KPI design, and variance analysis methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Excellent organizational abilities and a focus on precision
- Ability to succeed in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment and adjust quickly to shifting priorities

- Familiarity with Sage Intacct, HubSpot, or comparable software platforms
