EQL Edtech's Client was looking for a Founding Marketing/Growth Associate - Remote (AI EdTech SaaS)

EQL Edtech is looking for a Founding Marketing/Growth Associate to build the marketing engine for our remote AI EdTech SaaS startup. You will develop playbooks to scale our teacher-led, bottom-up growth model using Product-Led Growth principles from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Create compelling, authentic content (blog posts, case studies, newsletters, social media, SEO articles) that resonates with US K-12 teachers.
  • Build and manage a vibrant online community of teacher advocates and 'super-users'.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, webinars) to generate qualified leads.
  • Design and manage email drip campaigns to nurture free users toward school-wide adoption.
  • Analyze user data to identify friction points and growth opportunities within the product.
  • Develop and optimize referral programs and other word-of-mouth loops leveraging a satisfied teacher base.
  • Manage the marketing technology stack (e.g., social schedulers, email platforms, CRM).
  • Create marketing and sales assets (copywriting, one-pagers, case studies, presentations) to support the sales team.
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics, turning data into actionable insights.

What We're Looking For

  • Native-level English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • 1-3+ years in a marketing role with hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, community management, or demand generation.
  • Direct professional experience in the K-12 ecosystem, either as a former K-12 teacher or marketing to US teachers/schools at an EdTech SaaS company.
  • Highly self-motivated 'doer' with a 'figure-it-out' mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and fast pace.
  • Comfortable using modern SaaS and GenAI tools to work efficiently.

Nice to Have

  • Specific experience with Product-Led Growth strategies.
  • Experience marketing to curriculum directors or school administrators.
  • Former English/Humanities teacher who has since moved into a marketing career.
