The Sales People is hiring a Founding Account Executive to be our first sales hire. You will take weight off the founding team and play a key role in shaping our sales engine. This is a launchpad to develop ownership, leadership, and a career in high-growth sales.
What You'll Do
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and build a pipeline from scratch.
- Progress into closing deals, managing negotiations and deal execution.
- Shape and lead the sales function, eventually mentoring new hires and defining sales processes and culture.
- Work closely with founders on strategy, GTM planning, and scaling high-performance sales teams.
- Drive impact from day one with results directly influencing company and client growth.
What We're Looking For
- Thrive in a hybrid role comfortable with cold outreach, pipeline building, and closing deals.
- Be ambitious and coachable, eager to learn, grow, and take on leadership responsibilities.
- Have a proven track record with 4 or more years of sales experience across prospecting and closing.
- Sell to senior stakeholders and navigate B2B environments to build credibility quickly.
- Be industry agnostic, where performance matters more than background.
Team & Environment
You will be the first sales hire, reporting to the founding team. As we scale, your role will evolve to mentor new hires and lead the sales function.

This role is based in Cape Town.
