JLL is looking for a Foot Mobile Building Service Engineer to maintain our portfolio of mobile sites across Central London. In this role, you will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance and repair of a wide range of building systems, ensuring operational effectiveness and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Portfolio Supervisor.
- Perform full mechanical and electrical PPM and reactive works.
- Close and update completed PPM tasks on the site's computerized maintenance system.
- Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained to maximize building system operation.
- Assist specialist subcontractors with PPM and reactive works.
- Adhere to JLL's QA and site procedures in all aspects of your work.
- Follow all JLL and site-specific Health & Safety procedures.
- Comply with JLL's Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation for all works.
- Inspect service conditions and proactively handle callouts and repairs as needed.
- Work in typical building environments and at height, using platforms and ladders.
- Keep all JLL-issued tools in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Proactively support the continued success of the contract.
- Complete other associated tasks as requested by management.
What We're Looking For
- City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services.
Nice to Have
- IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification.
- PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification.
- Knowledge and practical use of computer software, including Excel and MS Office.
Technical Stack
- Air Handling Units and 4-pipe fan coil units
- Emergency lighting systems and L8 compliance
- Fire alarm testing
- General lighting systems and plumbing
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Portfolio Supervisor, ensuring clear communication and support within the contract framework.
Work Mode
This role is fully onsite, based in our mobile sites across London.
