SupportYourApp is hiring a (Fluent English) Infrastructure Support Consultant (Kosovo, remote)

About the Role

The consultant will deliver technical infrastructure support to clients, diagnosing and resolving system issues, maintaining service reliability, and ensuring smooth operations across diverse IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in client infrastructure environments
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts promptly
  • Provide remote support for servers, networks, and cloud platforms
  • Document incidents and track resolution progress in support systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate complex problems
  • Follow standard operating procedures for incident management
  • Assist in maintaining high availability of client services
  • Respond to service outages with urgency and precision
  • Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring infrastructure issues
  • Support deployment and configuration of infrastructure components
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols during troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities
  • Work across time zones to support global clients
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and client environments
  • Deliver consistent service quality under operational pressure
  • Participate in on-call rotations when required
  • Follow change management processes for system updates
  • Assist in testing disaster recovery procedures
  • Contribute to knowledge base improvements

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level clients
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or AWS
