Teach and shape the next generation of licensed plumbing professionals with a respected training organization dedicated to student success. As a part-time Plumbing Exam Prep Instructor, you'll deliver comprehensive online instruction for Florida’s Plumbing Contractor licensing exam, covering both the technical trade content and business & finance requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Lead scheduled virtual classes with a focus on student comprehension and engagement
- Deliver clear, in-depth instruction on Florida Plumbing Code standards, isometric drawing interpretation, OSHA safety rules, and construction business practices
- Support learners through practice exams, problem-solving exercises, and real-world application of concepts
- Collaborate on curriculum updates to reflect current CILB exam structure and industry standards
- Develop and review practice questions and study resources that target common exam challenges
- Share practical insights from field experience to strengthen student readiness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of plumbing regulations, construction codes, and testing trends
What You Bring
- Active Florida Plumbing Contractor license
- Strong grasp of both trade-specific and business-related exam content, including contracts, project estimating, and legal requirements
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Experience in adult education or professional training is a plus
