What You'll Do
Supervise daily outbound operations, guiding a team through picking, packing, labelling, and data entry tasks to meet shipment deadlines. Ensure all processes follow company and customer requirements for accuracy and quality.
Organize team workflows by assigning tasks and monitoring progress to align with production goals. Adjust assignments as needed to maintain efficiency and respond to changing priorities.
Ensure data accuracy in warehouse management systems by overseeing order processing, inventory updates, and shipping documentation. Verify that all information is correctly recorded and maintained.
Oversee order preparation, checking that items are properly selected, packed, and labelled for shipment. Confirm compliance with packaging and handling standards before dispatch.
Maintain inventory integrity in the outbound area by identifying discrepancies or damaged goods and reporting them promptly. Support inventory control efforts through accurate tracking and documentation.
Collaborate across warehouse functions, working with inbound, returns, and inventory teams to optimize space and labor use. Promote smooth coordination between departments to enhance overall performance.
Enforce safety and quality protocols on the floor, ensuring all team members follow established procedures. Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Train and support new team members in operational processes and safety practices. Help them integrate into daily workflows and meet performance expectations.
Track key performance metrics such as order volume, productivity, and error rates. Report findings to management to support decision-making and process improvements.
Participate in inventory audits, including cycle counts and physical stock checks, to help maintain accurate inventory records.
Communicate operational updates to site leadership, flagging issues, resource needs, or delays that could impact performance.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with a focus on outbound or fulfilment activities
- Proven understanding of picking, packing, shipping, and data entry procedures
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Ability to interpret shipping documents, bills of lading, and inventory reports
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and safety
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and compliance standards
- Flexibility to work different shifts and extended hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous team supervision experience in a warehouse setting
- Hands-on use of RF scanners, barcode systems, and warehouse automation tools
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics terminology
- Problem-solving mindset with initiative in addressing operational challenges
- Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) or multi-client warehouse environments

Work Mode
