About the Role

This role supports the management of a vehicle fleet by handling day-to-day logistics, performing routine inspections, and ensuring all units meet operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
  • Schedule and track routine maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate with service providers for timely vehicle servicing
  • Monitor fleet availability and report on vehicle status
  • Assist in vehicle deployment and retrieval logistics
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet usage and maintenance history
  • Respond to operational issues affecting fleet performance
  • Support onboarding of new vehicles into the fleet
  • Ensure all vehicles meet cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Track fuel levels and schedule refueling as needed
  • Report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance teams
  • Assist in resolving vehicle-related incidents or accidents
  • Maintain organized documentation for compliance audits
  • Follow safety protocols during vehicle handling and movement
  • Communicate regularly with operations and dispatch teams
  • Support compliance with local transportation regulations
  • Assist in testing vehicles after maintenance or repairs
  • Track and manage fleet-related expenses within budget
  • Use fleet management software to update vehicle statuses
  • Ensure proper storage and security of vehicles when not in use
  • Participate in inventory checks and asset verification
  • Escalate recurring maintenance issues for further analysis
  • Support sustainability initiatives through efficient fleet usage
  • Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle handling and conduct
  • Assist in training new team members on fleet procedures
