Responsibilities
- Help ensure site performance by maintaining adherence to scheduled servicing and MOTs for all vehicles and trailers.
- Conduct daily tracking of trailers across the network and assist in returning them when needed.
- Communicate with personnel at other depots and external parties to coordinate trailer returns for maintenance and inspections.
- Generate regular reports summarizing the compliance status of the vehicle fleet.
- Collaborate with site operations and local service providers to assess and reduce vehicle damage expenses.
- Manage the logistics of relocating fleet vehicles as required.
- Evaluate PMI reports from service agents and resolve any safety defects missed during driver pre-operation checks.
- Conduct post-incident discussions with drivers, offering guidance on compliance with driving hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Assist the Transport Manager in achieving a fully compliant annual audit outcome.
- Provide backup to team members by helping with tasks within the team’s scope as needed.
