About the Role
The individual will oversee MEP fit-out works for client projects, coordinating design and execution to meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage MEP aspects of interior build-out projects from concept to completion
- Review design drawings and technical specifications for compliance
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- Ensure MEP installations align with safety and regulatory standards
- Monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues promptly
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting
- Support budget planning and cost control measures
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to plans
- Assist in tender evaluations and contractor selection
- Facilitate coordination between design and construction teams
- Verify HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system designs meet project needs
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Ensure integration of MEP systems with building infrastructure
- Address client requirements and feedback during project lifecycle
- Support commissioning and handover of MEP components
- Apply industry best practices to improve project outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and approvals
- Liaise with authorities for necessary permits and inspections
- Promote efficient use of materials and resources
- Ensure sustainability considerations are integrated into MEP design
- Support risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Assist in developing project schedules and timelines
- Verify contractor compliance with contract terms
- Contribute to post-project evaluations and lessons learned
- Uphold health and safety protocols across project sites
