We are seeking Fire Engineers at all career stages to join our expanding UK teams in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, and London. This role supports the delivery of advanced life safety solutions on prominent developments, offering immediate impact and long-term professional development within Europe’s largest fire engineering consultancy.
What You’ll Do
- Lead or support the execution of demanding fire safety projects, ensuring client objectives are met with precision and innovation.
- Develop, assess, and refine fire engineering strategies for buildings at all phases—from concept through construction to operation.
- Use advanced simulation tools including CFD, CFAST, Pyrosim, and Pathfinder to model fire behaviour and evaluate performance-based solutions.
- Conduct on-site fire safety evaluations, inspections, and risk assessments across diverse building types.
- Advise clients and multidisciplinary design teams with clear, technically sound recommendations.
- Guide junior staff and graduates, contributing to their growth through coaching and knowledge transfer.
- Support business development efforts, such as technical proposals and client engagement, based on your experience level.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy setting.
- A degree in Fire Engineering or a closely related field.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Progress toward, or attainment of, Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
