- Develop dashboards for real-time cost tracking
- Advise on pricing models and reserved instance planning
- Facilitate FinOps maturity assessments
- Lead cross-departmental workshops on cost accountability
- Translate technical usage data into financial insights
- Drive adoption of tagging and chargeback strategies
- Optimize resource utilization based on cost-performance tradeoffs
- Collaborate on showback reporting design
- Assist in creating governance policies for cloud spending
- Evaluate third-party tools for cost management integration
- Support internal audits with cost documentation
- Improve forecasting accuracy using historical trends
- Promote cost-aware culture within technology teams
- Track key FinOps metrics such as forecast accuracy and cost per unit
- Troubleshoot billing discrepancies
- Onboard teams to FinOps platforms and processes
- Document best practices for cost control
- Assist in defining roles for financial accountability in IT
- Stay current with cloud provider pricing changes
- Deliver regular cost performance reviews
