At Univar Solutions, we're looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to provide business partnering analytics to sales and commercial effectiveness teams across EMEA. Your work will deliver key information and data-driven solutions for decision-making to improve business performance.
What You'll Do
- Produce various key leadership-level reports and dashboards.
- Business partner to influence activities and improve business performance.
- Distill large volumes of data and present concise reporting and analysis back to the business.
- Use initiative to generate new reporting and insights to help grow the business through cost efficiencies, increased profitability, and performance improvements.
- Review monthly performance, providing commentary and direction for the business.
- Work on other ad-hoc projects.
What We're Looking For
- Educated to degree level.
- Thorough knowledge and experience creating data sources using Alteryx workflows.
- Thorough knowledge and experience building dashboards in Tableau.
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sharp analytical mind and ability to interpret data.
- Commercial acumen.
- Imaginative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to ‘tell the story’ and focus the business on what matters.
- Ability to manage your own workload with flexibility for time-critical analysis.
Nice to Have
- Degree ideally STEM or Business-oriented.
- Passion for working with data, distilling key summaries, and providing commercial insights.
- Real-world analytics business partnering experience.
- Examples of pro-active innovations using data to drive business performance.
