The CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping, logistics, and land, air, and sea solutions, is hiring a Financial Operations Control Expert. You will join the 10-person Group Middle Office team within the Finance Department in Marseille, focusing on cash flow, debt, and market operations monitoring. Your work will directly support treasury functions and enhance financial decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Construct medium-term cash flow forecasts and produce associated reporting.
- Reconcile actuals versus forecast and align projections with the Business Plan.
- Monitor CAPEX, financial assumptions, and debt repayments.
- Interface with Treasury, Consolidation, Business Plan, and Management Control teams.
- Develop tools and management reporting for cash steering, covering available cash, FX positions by currency, subsidiary cash, bank fees, and country or bank risk.
- Control daily cash positions for headquarters and the Group's main subsidiaries.
- Analyze discrepancies between bank balances and accounting cash.
- Act as an interface between Treasury and operational services for daily flow management, including funds flow analysis and application of internal procedures.
- Analyze and monitor intra-group flows and positions, such as current accounts and intra-group loans.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects, particularly those focused on process and tool evolution.
What We're Looking For
- A Master 2 from a Business or Engineering School, or a Master's in Finance, Management, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in a treasury or banking Middle Office role.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- An autonomous, proactive, and rigorous professional with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- A demonstrated sense of priorities and team spirit.
- Fluent proficiency in both French and English.
Nice to Have
- An aptitude for IT tool development, such as VBA or database implementation.
