THE CMA CGM GROUP, a global leader in sea, land, air, and logistics solutions, is seeking a Financial Operations Control Expert. You will join the Group Middle Office within our Finance Division, a team of 10 people in Marseille dedicated to monitoring cash, debt, and market operations.
What You'll Do
- Prepare the Group’s medium-term cash flow forecast and related reporting.
- Reconcile actuals versus forecasts and align them with the Business Plan.
- Monitor CAPEX, financial assumptions, and debt repayments.
- Interact with Treasury, Consolidation, Business Planning, and Controlling teams.
- Develop cash management tools and reports for Front Office and management.
- Control daily cash positions for Head Office and the Group’s main subsidiaries.
- Analyze variances between bank balances and accounting cash positions.
- Act as the interface between Treasury and operational departments for daily cash flow management.
- Analyze and monitor intragroup flows and positions.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on process and tool improvements.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s degree from a Business School, Engineering School, or in Finance/Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in Treasury or a banking Middle Office role.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent sense of priorities and a strong team spirit.
- Fluent in French and English.
Nice to Have
- An interest in IT tool development, such as VBA or database implementation.
