About the Role
The Financial Controller will lead the accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across global operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations
- Lead internal and external audit coordination
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and accounting policies
- Supervise tax reporting and compliance across jurisdictions
- Collaborate with banking partners and regulatory bodies on financial disclosures
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity management practices
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to executive leadership
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and reconciliation processes
- Implement and improve financial systems and reporting tools
- Drive process automation and efficiency in accounting operations
- Maintain compliance with anti-money laundering and financial regulations
- Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Provide guidance on financial implications of new products or services
- Assist in investor reporting and board-level financial presentations
- Ensure data integrity across financial platforms and systems
- Lead and mentor a distributed accounting team
- Support regulatory examinations and financial reviews
- Evaluate risks related to financial operations and controls
- Contribute to strategic initiatives involving financial infrastructure
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all financial activities
