Energean is hiring a Financial Controller

Energean is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join Energean Italy, based in Milan. You will report to the Italian Financial Controller Lead, playing a key role in financial planning, control, reporting, and supervising Croatian branch activities. What You'll Do

• Support the planning and control process for business plan, budget, forecast, and financial closing.
• Support monthly reporting for the parent company, including group KPI analysis.
• Manage part of the monthly reporting for business functions and technical departments.
• Support the development of the control model and reporting system.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of actual vs budget variances.
• Monitor and manage the Time Sheet module, management accounting, turnover, allocations, hourly costs, and joint tariffs.
• Collaborate with other functions for process management and the correct allocation of revenues, opex, and capex.
• Manage daily relationships with other company functions.
• Process monthly allocations and check allocations from other functions.
• Map orders and contracts assigned to various cost centers.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Support the drafting of the Management Report for year-end financial statements.
• Supervise Croatian branch activities.

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Economics or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years experience in an auditing company and 2 to 3 years as a Financial Controller within a company.
• Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of the SAP 4/HANA application.
