P3 Health Partners is a physician-led organization transforming healthcare from sickness care into wellness guidance. We are looking for a Financial Business Analyst to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Health Plan Finance, you will gather and analyze data to design solutions that support business needs, providing key insights to markets, departments, and physician groups.
What You'll Do
- Collect and synthesize data from multiple sources to develop reports on overall market and provider group performance.
- Analyze information to recognize trends in quality, medical cost utilization, membership, and other critical data.
- Develop performance improvement reporting that translates into specific, actionable insights.
- Track and develop weekly and monthly metrics to show trends and support performance goals.
- Complete ad hoc reports to support market program development.
- Prepare high-quality presentations for leadership and external audiences.
- Collaborate with teams on workflow process improvement, document management, and education.
- Provide analytical and administrative support for various projects as needed.
- Manage customer expectations effectively and generate enthusiasm among team members.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Finance or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable).
- A minimum of 7 years of healthcare industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years defining and analyzing business requirements, developing reports, modeling processes, and creating presentations.
- 3+ years of experience with business intelligence and decision support tools and concepts.
- A strong technology background, comfortable working across a range of applications.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, V/H lookups, and conditional formatting.
- Proven experience with relational database systems, with preference given to SQL Server.
- Ability to quickly understand business issues and data challenges within healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with business clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects and complete them in a timely manner within a fast-paced team.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects while coordinating with internal and external team members.
- Experience presenting analytic results orally and in writing to medical offices, plans, and providers.
- Experience analyzing large datasets, particularly health-related claims data.

- A Master's degree is preferred.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $100,000 - $115,000.
