Comtech LLC is hiring a Financial Analyst

The Federal Financial Specialist serves as a member of a Functional Team, supporting the DoN Office of Financial Management and Naval Facilities Engineering Command Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) efforts. The team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and systems in support of client efforts to achieve audit readiness. Depending on the audit segments under investigation, the Federal Financial Specialist is expected to apply subject matter expertise to evaluate cross-functional processes and the transactions that impact financial reporting. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in one or more of the following capabilities: Auditing, Accounting and/or Financial Management • Experience executing DoD operations and business type activities/transactions supporting Real Property • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and/or OMB Circular A-123 documentation, testing and reporting requirements. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline Preferred Requirements: · Knowledge of statement of budgetary resources, concepts and requirements. · Experience preparing assertion packages, evaluating and testing internal controls, designing improvement initiatives, reporting performance results and developing guidance CDFM, CGFM and/or CPA. · Federal Consulting experience and/or Federal Accounting/Auditing experience. · Understanding of the DoD's Financial Management environment . · Proven ability to lead a deliverable team.
