Heidi Health is looking for a Financial Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be hands-on with accounting, compliance, and strategic projects that support our rapid growth in the healthtech sector.

What You'll Do

Own the day-to-day financial accounting and month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Prepare and post journals, reconciliations, and adjustments across key accounts including revenue, payroll, and accruals.
Maintain audit-ready ledgers and ensure compliance with all tax, BAS, payroll tax, and statutory obligations.
Prepare monthly management reports, board reporting packs, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
Engage with non-finance teams to streamline processes, support cash management, and provide financial insights.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Identify inefficiencies and implement automation tools to enhance financial controls and operations.
Contribute to building a proactive, high-performance finance function that adds value to the overall business.

What We're Looking For

CA or CPA qualified (or in the final stages of qualification).
Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and/or international accounting standards.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and stakeholder management.

Nice to Have

Previous experience in Big 4, private practice and/or high-growth SAAS companies.
Process automation and system implementation experience.
