HireHawk is hiring a Financial Accountant to support critical finance operations. In this role, you will independently manage month-end processes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable while serving as a key communication bridge with a diverse client base. You’ll collaborate closely with an existing junior accountant in our lean, supportive team environment.
What You'll Do
- Independently manage month-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions with high attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with Mexican clients in Spanish and U.S. clients in English to maintain strong business relationships.
- Collaborate with a junior accountant to optimize workflow distribution and provide backup coverage.
- Cross-train across various finance functions to enhance team flexibility and operational continuity.
What We're Looking For
- Spanish fluency required for bilingual communication with clients in Mexico and the U.S.
- Proven ability to independently manage month-end close processes with minimal supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing financial reconciliations, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Ability to proactively identify, document, and communicate financial discrepancies.
- Proficiency with desktop-based ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics GP Desktop.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliation workflows.
- Availability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Preference for long-term, stable contract roles.
